Learn to Swim Programme for Adults
A year-round swimming programme designed specifically for adults aged 18 and upwards.

Programme Focus
Our Learn to Swim programme is aimed at adults from complete beginners to improvers, with an emphasis on building swimming skills and enjoying the water. The programme follows Swim England’s Learn to Swim Framework for all levels and offers a clear exit route into the Masters Section at the City of Coventry Swimming Club for those interested in competitive swimming.
Minimum Age
- The programme is open to adults aged 18 years and over.
- 17-year-olds may be considered if appropriate and if spaces are available.
Lesson Duration & Structure
- Tuesday, Friday and Sunday Beginners Classes: 45 minutes
- Sunday advanced Classes: 1 hour
Contact with the instructor is available before and after each lesson for any queries or advice.
Teaching Staff
All our instructors are Swim England-qualified Level 2 Teachers, hold RLSS Lifeguard qualifications, and are DBS checked for your safety and peace of mind.
