Ethos, Values and Vision
We believe that learning to swim is an essential life skill and one that every child and adult should have access to.
We aim to ensure good quality swimming lessons for all children and adults. We aim to maintain a good balance between consistent, quality teaching, small class sizes and affordability. We know that these areas are really important to allow all children to build confidence, learn and progress in the water.
Parents and Guardians are key to a child’s success in the lessons, and we encourage all parents and guardians to read this welcome pack and bring their child to our lessons as often as possible to ensure that each child has the greatest opportunity to learn to swim and reach their full potential.
We are friendly and approachable and aim to make children and parents alike feel welcomed, allowing for a close working relationship and a sociable place for children to learn.
We proudly offer inclusive swimming lessons tailored for all abilities, featuring specialised classes for students with additional needs that ensure personalized attention and support in a nurturing environment.
Using the Swim England Teaching plan as a base, we’ve developed a scheme of work that really focuses on swimming technique and allowing children to reach their full potential. We have many awards to recognise children’s progression and achievements.
